A Verse from the Quran
وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ
“And seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, it is a burden except for the humble.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:45)
A Hadith
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: جُعِلَتْ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The coolness of my eyes is in Salah.”
(Sunan An-Nasa'i 3939)

(Sahih Bukhari: 631)

"لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا"
(Surah Al-Ahzab 33:21)
Allah also commands us to follow the Prophet ﷺ:
"Say, 'If you should love Allah, then follow me, so Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.'"
"قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ"
(Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:31)
